Hot Toddy’s

We have all heard of having guest over for tea, coffee or cocktails. How about adding a little twist to things and have guest over for hot toddy’s instead. During the winter months cool or cold evenings I can’t think of anything better than a nice warm hot toddy in my hands surrounded by good company.

Ingredients:

• 1 – 1/2 t. honey
• Juice of 1/2 a lemon, including a little pulp
• 2 oz. bourbon or brandy
• Hot tea (already steeped)
• A cinnamon stick
• Lemon twist

Directions:

1. Mix honey, fresh lemon juice and bourbon in a mug or glassware of your choice
2. Top off glass or mug with  tea
3. Add cinnamon stick and twist
4. Serve and breathe fumes, sip slowly and enjoy
