Vodka Tasting Party
Saturday, October 30th, 2010We’ve all heard of wine tasting parties but have how about a vodka tasting party? They are actually quite popular because just like with wine many people take their vodka very serious. So gather up a few friends and get together for a little get together. You’ll have lots to talk about as the evening revolves around vodka.
Here are a few suggestions to guide you for a successful evening.
- Select a few different types of vodka, about three or four.
- Make sure the vodka is chilled.
- Cover vodka bottles for added mystery.
- Serve a few appetizers for guests to snack on in between tastings.
- Only serve about 1 ounce of each type of vodka for tasting.
- Have a notepad and pen for each guest for taking notes and rating the vodkas.
- You can rate vodka on smell, texture and the finish as you swallow.
- Have an open forum where you discuss the vodka after tasting each one.
Having a vodka party is quite easy to throw together. A fun new way to get together with a little education added to the mix. If you need a little help selecting vodkas I have provided Forbes list of the best vodka from around the World.
