Homemade Popsicles
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010After all the egg hunting is done this Easter, offer your children something delicious and refreshing, homemade Popsicles!

They’re so easy to make and you can even make them as nutritious as you’d like! Creating these are a fun little project for you and your kids.
Make sure you have your popsicle molds ready! But if you don’t buy Small Dixie cups and Popsicle sticks and ta-da!

Berry Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Directions:
Puree all ingredients and freeze, insert sticks when partially frozen and continue to freeze until they harden.
Watermelon Tang Popsicles (Simple & Healthy)
Ingredients:
- 4 cups watermelon, seeds removed, cubed
Directions:
Place the watermelon in a blender and puree. Pour into popsicle mold and freeze until hardened.
Fruity Popsicles
Ingredients:
- A can of fruit (pineapples, peaches, fruit cocktail – the choice is yours)
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. box of Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
