Cooking with kids: Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bars
Thursday, February 18th, 2010If you have children, you may often experience how interested they are in helping you cook or bake. Try creating some Chocolate-Peanut Butter bars with them! The best part? There is no baking needed!

Ingridients:
- 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar
- 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup of smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 cups and 2 tbsp of melted butter
- 2 cups (12 oz.) milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Directions:
Have fun cooking with your kids! Put the gram crackers in a closed zip-lock bag and let them have fun crumbling the crackers!
- Have a 9×13 inch baking pan ready (ungreased!)
- Take out a large bowl and mix confectioners’ sugar, graham crackers, peanut butter and butter.
- Make sure you blend all ingridents well.
- Scrape baking pan and press into even layer. Spread melted chocolate over top.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours until chocolate is firm.
- Let stand 10-20 minutes at room temperature before cutting into bars.
Ta-da a no-bake dessert that’s easy and fun!
